This is an exquisite Edwardian-era silk gown with a crochet collar and cuffs. It has a high neck collar with boning and 3/4 length dolman/ kimono sleeves. The underlayer is satin with a chiffon over-layer, featuring ruffles along the skirt opening and the bodice bib. There are pleats coming from the shoulders to the waist on the bib. There is also a central floral silk feature on the front waist and a half-belt at the back. The front skirt crosses over, almost making a tulip shape, which sits 6 inches from the underskirt hem. There is a train at the back. The back chiffon skirt and train are un-hemmed. There is a hanging ball trim on the neck, bust, sleeves and cuffs. It is unlined. Hook and eye closures in the back. Would make a beautiful bridal gown!
